Facilitation

In a world that is increasingly stretched between the polarisations of extremes, I gather people for workshops, seminars and dialogues, to meet, exchange, reconnect, build bridges, trust and peace with oneself / others / the earth. To have the seemingly impossible conversations. To get to know ourselves more deeply and tap into our (often hidden) potential, to connect and walk towards rather than walk away.

My facilitation is focused on the process and the dynamics present. It places these into the socio-cultural context and addresses them with a systemic lens. I use process-oriented worldwork methods, working from the emergent to allow space for collective wisdom to arise and to listen to whispers of the future.

I can include mindfulness, artistic methods and nature experiences to open hearts and minds to connection beyond the human experience.

I offer and hold spaces where mistakes are welcomed as opportunities for growth and learning, spaces that are non-judgemental, compassionate and heart-centred.

Trainings

Teachers, social workers, therapists, teams and organisations seem to be met by more and more expectations and challenges due to the ever increasing diversity and complexity of our deeply interconnected world.

I feel strongly passionate about contributing to an increased understanding of dynamics of rank and power and the impact these have. I hence offer awareness trainings for students / practitioners of therapy, social work or teachers, for organisations and companies, as well as specifically for white(-passing) people.

My trainings centre around the dynamics of power, white supremacy and privilege, critical whiteness, dynamics of structural discrimination, marginalisation and oppression and their impacts on mental health, resilience and the ability to withstand stress, on the behaviour of individuals and groups, as well as on the performance within groups or teams. Increasing our understanding of these dynamics will improve our ability to better work with and support people with lived experiences of marginalisation or discrimination.

I also offer trainings in peace skills and intercultural competencies as vital building blocks for life in our volatile times.

I am available for inputs and reflection rounds on colonial continuities in development cooperation and aid work.
