What is it?

The I

That merges with the sea

Filled up and dissolved

Washed away by the

Never-ending waves.

What is it?

When no longer here

But everywhere

United with the incessant

Flow of the ocean.

Am I still?

Or am I part of the mighty

Stillness in motion?

Does this mean I am - or I am not?

Am I when secluded, securely in me

Or am I when dissolved into all that is?

Am I always, at all times

Or am I never?

I

What is it?

If not a speck

In the infinite whole?

Like the full moon

Glistening on the crest of the waves

While lighting up the night.

Sky and ocean

Here and there

Light and reflection

Close and far

Still and moving

All at the same time

Forever.
