Reclaiming My Wholeness
Grounded in my power,
I am coming to reclaim my wholeness.
I work and weave with the energies of light and life
I sing with the birds and speak with the trees,
I sail with the winds and merge with the seas.
My heart cracks open with the pains of this earth
and I light my light to bring healing and a sense of rebirth.
My ways are winding, unbound and wild
as I follow the footsteps of the voice inside
I don't listen to rulers, my intuition is my guide
grounded in my power I stand with pride.
You tell me I'm delusional, a dreamer and my reality can't be -
I tell you – sorry not sorry – it's just a glimpse of being me.
I have come to reclaim my wholeness, no longer willing to push aside,
throw out or bury the sacredness of my life
It still feels quite tender, so new, so unknown,
the piece that now fills from where previously my energy had gone.
No longer in pieces or ridden with holes, I am beginning to feel
how ancient presence and wholeness unfolds
My feet deeply rooted, my hands on my heart,
I am rising from the mud, willing to start
an exploration of what it now means to be me
now that I am reclaiming my power, allowing you to see
the whole me, the one wading through chaos to fish out the good
the one willing to face the powers that be and let her heart speak, her light shine, finally free
the healing one, all tender and raw, no longer fitting into the stories of before.
From Jaguar to condor, my soul roams the land
while I join my brothers and sisters hand-in-hand
bravely, I am rising from hiding to shining bright,
no longer invisible
from darkness to eternal light.
I can hold the plurality, I don't subscribe to black and white
your restrictions don't interest me, I come to heal the divides.
