Is There Freedom?

Is there freedom – somewhere out there?

Will we go there to its hiding place?

Will we find it buried in the ground

under layers and layers of dust?

Can we unearth it and will we be allowed

to take a piece of it home like the

stone you asked from the desert to gift to me?
